My new guy

Our handsome new Leghorn. Adopted from Brightside. He's a real gentleman but the girls aren't quite sure yet.

We can't settle on a name though. Bruce, Roger, Rooser, Snowy, Cocky. Any suggestions?

  2. How about Jeff as in Fenech?
    He's a 'cocky' 'bantam'-weight rooster!

  7. Don't make my mistake! I settled on Ron for my rooster beause he reminded my of a Ron that no longer lives in our town.

But I forgot that the owner of the local garage is also called Ron - and the garage is within cooee distance!

It's too late to change now so I just have to be careful what I say. But I know that one day .....

Something that sounds old and daggy. I like mle pets that have names like that!

  11. He's very good lookin'! Elsie thinks you should call him Ken,(?) and Heidi likes Cockle, because our last rooster was Cock-a-rooster. We also had a white leghorn rooster called Kimba who was a delight until he decided the best place to herald the morning was outside our 3 month old's window. Not cool!

  12. he's cute. My favourite male name at the moment is Monty... after the gardener. I'd hope that Mr Don would take it as a compliment!
