The longest day of the year today and a favourite tradition is to leave out flowers and treats for the fairies on the summer solstice. Befriending the fairies on the solstice is recommended, lest they use their mischievous magic to trick you. Peppermint bark, pecan fudge, chocolate truffles and blooms from the garden will hopefully keep those imps happy so as to leave behind a special treat.
Where does one get applications to be one of these cheeky fairies? YUM!
